As the rollercoaster ride that is 2020 comes to a close, Washington Youth Soccer continues to do everything we can to facilitate a safe and swift return to play. To help support our efforts and those by our members, we would like to announce today a Virtual Auction and Giving Campaign, specifically focused this month on a key program, Soccer For Success.

Among our many social and soccer programs, we are particularly passionate about Soccer For Success because of how important it is for getting access to exercise, nutrition, and community to kids all over the state who need it the most. Soccer for Success is a free after-school program that helps kids establish healthy habits and develop critical life skills through trained coach-mentors and community engagement. More importantly, it positively changes communities through sports-based, trauma-informed programming.
Supporting Soccer for Success means supporting kids across Washington whose lives will be transformed not only by the community and fun of soccer, but also by the mental and physical health benefits provided by our coach-mentors. Giving just one child a sense of belonging and purpose can change the course of their life forever. Rallying the community around these kids holistically changes the community moving forward. Let’s be change makers together as we finish out 2020.
